In 2019, from March to August, we embarked on an extraordinary journey with the Rwanda TVET Board to empower 30 determined youths and women. This training program was not just an educational endeavor; it was a catalyst for change, aimed at addressing the deep-rooted inequalities that hinder progress. Through tailoring and knitting skill development and personal growth, we sought to create a brighter, more equitable future for these incredible individuals and their communities.

Unlocking Potential and Building Futures

The participants, coming from various walks of life, shared a common drive: the desire to overcome barriers and seize new opportunities. Our program provided them with the technical skills and confidence needed to thrive in their chosen fields. From vocational training to entrepreneurial workshops, every session was designed to unlock their potential and pave the way for sustainable success.

Fostering a Supportive Community

A key element of our program was fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Participants formed lasting bonds, sharing experiences and supporting each other’s growth. This sense of community continues to thrive, creating a network of empowered individuals who can rely on one another for encouragement and guidance. This solidarity is crucial in sustaining the positive impact of the training and driving further change.
